ACF offers Free Recruiting and NCAA Eligibility
Seminars to High School Booster Clubs
and Club Sports Organizations
There is a lot more to getting that college athletic scholarship than just being a good player. In fact, many people, including the college coaches, are often finding that the hardest part of recruiting is getting past the eligibility phase. It’s complicated and getting more so every year. If college coaches, who make their living doing this, are having a hard time keeping up with things you can imagine the difficulty a 16 year old and his or her parents are having. Which core courses are required and how many credits are required in each; GPA numbers; ACT and SAT scores; NCAA Eligibility registration and when to register; Amateur Status registration and when to register; NCAA Recruiting rules. Those are some of the things that every prospective college athlete and his or her parents must face. It is extremely important that they get educated about the eligibility and recruiting process before they become graduating seniors. American Coaches Federation is conducting free Recruiting and Eligibility Seminars for high school booster clubs and organized club team organizations. These seminars are often held in conjunction with tournaments and showcases. All seminar speakers are experts in the field and have been certified by ACF. If your organization would like for us to schedule a seminar for your prospective student-athletes, their coaches, and their parents, please send us an e-mail at americancoaches@ bellsouth.net.
Member Coaches may also become Certified by successfully completing our recruiting and NCAA Clearinghouse test. All members will receive a membership certification certificate, an ACF arm patch, and a laminated ACF coach I.D. badge.
Annual Membership Fee -- $25.00
